KESID International Students Emergency Fund

This COVID-19 Kenya Students In Diaspora (KESID) Foundation Emergency Fund was created to support some International Students who have been drastically impacted by COVID- 19 closures. According to Wanjohi ( 2019) and daily nation (March 2020), there were 3,451 Kenyan students enrolled in US higher education institutions in the 2018- 2019 academic year. Due to Campus closures, international students are unable to work on campus to enable them to meet basic living expenses. International students' health, safety, and well-being continue to be our top priority. Please note that this effort is not to raise money for tuition, but to provide basic emergency living expenses such as
1. Food, medication, personal hygiene products
2. Relocation support (i.e., to another state for graduate school )
Suggested Target: $20,000
-Funding Raising Duration: 1 Month (July- July31)
