Chris Rinke Kidney Transplant and Recovery Fund

Chris Rinke is the son of Rick and Becky Rinke and is in need of help and support during this difficult and trying time in his life. He is 28 years old born and raised in Waterville Washington. Presently he lives in Cashmere Washington with his wife of 5 months, Kari Rinke. Chris and Kari hope to start their new life together, buy a house and start a family. But with the recent diagnosis of Acute Kidney failure they will have to put these goals aside for the mean time.
Due to many complications in addition to the Kidney Transplant he will be having a surgery this month, February, that needs to be done before the Kidney Transplant to ensure that the transplant is successful. Chris has been on dialyses three times a week for three months. He recently has been placed on the donor list through Virginia Mason in Seattle Washington. With the surgeries comes recovery, which means he will be out of work for a unknown amount of time. After the transplant surgery he is required to stay in Seattle , close to the hospital for at least a month. Chris and Kari will not be able to work, with Chris recovering and Kari being the care taker.
They are planning on keeping their apartment in Cashmere Washington to come home to once recovered and is safe to travel away from the hospital. Although Insurance is being used for medical expenses it does not cover 100%. Funds are needed for travel, rent, food and everyday living expenses.
This journey has definitely tested family and especially Chris and Kari. Chris and his family are reaching out to all of you to please help support. We hope to lesson the financial impact as much as possible. No amount is to small, all support will be appreciated whether it is a money donation or to sign up for a kidney donation.
