Update on Luna

This is the hardest post we’ve had to write.

After her ER treatment, the vet gave us the heartbreaking news—Luna has aggressive lymphoma. There’s nothing more they can do. We brought her home to spend the weekend with us, where she’s surrounded by warmth, familiar smells, and nonstop love.

She’s been our little shadow these past two years, filling our home with so much joy, laughter, and comfort. It’s hard to imagine life without her demanding butt pats, leaping to the highest perch in the house, or spending hours watching birds with that intense little hunter’s gaze. Her time with us was far too short, but the love and memories she gave us will last a lifetime.

On Monday, we’ve arranged for a vet to come to our home so she can pass peacefully, in the place she feels safest, wrapped in love.
