On April 18th, our family received the results from a CT scan revealing a mass on my mother's pancreas. Through follow up testing and consultation at Johns Hopkins the mass was found to be a locally advanced or Stage 3 malignant neoplasm of the body of the pancreas. Thankfully the mass hasn't metastasized to other major organs.

Starting this week, mom will begin the most difficult battle of her life as she starts chemo treatments to combat the pancreatic cancer. This is a woman who is a true embodiment of selflessness who never hesitates to help others in need. I started this page to allow anyone inspired to help offset the cost of treatment to donate.
