Mubarak Dhanani is a hard-working, selfless, and kind man who has always cared more about benefiting and helping others before himself. He is a wonderful father to his 9 year old son, and a loving husband to his wife. On April 11, he suffered an extremely severe heart attack which caused a majority of his heart to fail. He has been in ICU for over a week, and his lungs, liver, and kidney have failed along with his heart. In addition to that, Mr. Dhanani has encountered a severe case of pneumonia and his body is slowly deteriorating. The only way for him to have a chance at survival is with a heart transplant. Once the heart transplant takes place successfully, then the other failed organs will automatically recover because the heart plays a huge role in their bodily process. Currently, he is in Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, but the transplant will require him to transfer to a hospital in Houston. The Houston hospital is requiring the family to pay $250,000 up front in order to accept him into the facility and move further with the process. If we do not acquire these funds, Mr. Dhanani will have less than a 1% chance of survival.
