My Year In Israel

Hi my name is Elisheva Kent and I am a graduating high school senior from St. Louis, MO. I have spent the last few year learning and growing in my Jewish knowledge and faith. One of the critical components of becoming the Jewish woman I need and want to become, is to immerse myself in an intensive year of Judaic study in a woman's seminary in Israel. Tiferet will give me the tools to become more educated in Judaism and life skills. There will be community service aspects, amazing trips around Israel and more. I will be able to spend 10 months in the home of the Jewish people, Israel, discoveringIsrael, Judaism and myself. I have been accepted to the Tiferet Seminary in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Unfortunately, finances have been challenging the past few years to say the least. Fortunately, however, I have been able, with the help of my rabbis, youth groups, MASA and a generous scholarships from many other organizations itself to put together $15,000 of the $25,000 cost to attend this program.
