I recently got hired for a new job at my local prison. I want to teach there but the entry level position I am hired for has hearing requirements that I cannot meet with my level of hearing loss. I currently live on food stamps and TennCare insurance will not pay for the hearing aids. Hearing aids will cost me approximately $3000 and I've raised $1700* already.
