NGO Scholarship Fund Background

 

My name is Rola Al Ajeh and I am the founder of Bareeq for Education and Development. Bareeq is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, particularly children, girls, and mothers. Since 2014, Bareeq opened a scholarship fund to pay tuition and fees of Syrian refugees living in Jordan to complete their higher education. Today, we need your help to support our scholarship fund to continue paying the tuition of our dedicated students, that want to leave a positive impact in this world.

 

To this day, the Bareeq scholarship fund has supported 34 students (11 have graduated) in different majors such as pharmacy, medicine, business administration, English literature, psychology, and more. The scholarship fund changed our students' lives by giving them a chance to achieve their goals, resulting in several success stories. For example, one of our female students graduated from medical school and is currently working with UNICEF.

 

Winter Semester 2021-2022 Campaign

 

We have 9 students (1 male, 8 female) to support this semester, and the tuition of each student ranges from $1,200-$1,800.

 

The students are in different universities, including AlZaytoonah University, Yarmouk University, Isra University, and the University of Jordan, and are between year two and final year.

Psychology

Business Administration

Law

Information System

Nutrition 

Pharmacy

Medicine

100% of donations are going to support students' tuition and fees. Bareeq is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that makes all donations to us tax-deductible.
