Due to a car accident that occurred in October of 2024, my mother had a left foot fracture and Charcot foot. She was hospitalized and operated on September 16. 2025 for a foot and ankle reconstruction. An external foot and ankle fixture has been set for a duration period of 6 to 8 months for the healing process.

We, her family, are unable to take care of her at home during this time. One of my aunts works long hours and has her family to take care of; my other aunt is a dialysis patient, in need of her own care and rest. My mom is currently receiving the care she needs in a nursing home, where all her needs are being met but our economic resources have been used up, and we are no longer able to keep our mom at the facility. My family and I are requesting you're help to be able to keep my mom at this nursing home, get the physical therapy she needs and provide her other necessities such as diapers and wipes due to her inability to move or get out of bed all the time due to her fixture.
