On Thursday, January 22nd, my dad was wrongfully detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement agents without a warrant at a Kwik Trip gas station in the evening. He is a hardworking father, loving grandpa, and a businessman who goes the extra mile for his clients. He is legally in the US with a valid work permit and works harder than anyone I've known. He's the heart of our family and the one who's always willing to be there and give support. He always sees the world around him with such positivity and is a man of strong faith. My dad has not committed any crimes and has been in this country for over 25 years. Our biggest hope right now is to bring him home where he belongs.
Despite everything, we remain hopeful that this situation will have a positive outcome and that Jose will soon return home.

por agentes de ICE en una gasolinera de Kwik Trip por la noche. Es un padre trabajador, un abuelo cariñoso y un empresario que siempre se esfuerza al máximo por sus clientes. Se encuentra legalmente en los Estados Unidos con un permiso de trabajo válido y es muy trabajador. Es el pilar de nuestra familia y siempre está dispuesto a apoyarnos. Siempre ve el mundo con optimismo y es un hombre de fe. Mi padre no ha cometido ningún delito y lleva más de 25 años en este país. Nuestra mayor esperanza en este momento es que regrese a casa, donde pertenece. A pesar de todo, mantenemos la esperanza de que esta situación tenga un resultado positivo y que José regrese pronto a casa.
