A message from Maggie's best friend Robyn: On wednesday, July 13th, one of my best friends, Maggie, received the devastating news that she has triple negative (not hormone fueled, which makes it more aggressive) Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with a 90% proliferation rate of the bad cells.
Due to the aggressiveness of this cancer, she needs not only surgery but extensive treatment and therapies as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is far beyond what she can afford, so we are desperately asking for help to save her.
Maggie has suffered immensely in the last few years. She was getting her life back after narrowly avoiding a lower leg amputation after being horrifically mauled by a dog, now to only be given the news that she has an aggressive form of breast cancer and is now rallying to save her life.
Anyone who knows Maggie, knows she is one of the most down-to-earth, caring, loving individuals there is. Her strength and spirit are awe-inspiring, given everything she's been through.
Please help in any way you can. No amount is too small. Thank you all in advance; it is appreciated more than you will ever know!

A message from Maggie: Hey everyone! Thank you for taking the time to visit my go fund me page, any help given is SO greatly appreciated! I want to share some more about me for those that may not know me well.
I'm a South Bay/LA native, born and raised living that beach life to the fullest :) I'm the oldest of 3 kids between my parents, and I have older half-siblings from my dad. I love flexing my creativity in so many ways, painting, epoxy art, refinishing furniture, design, and last but not least, cooking. I have a love for nature, health/wellness/fitness - that most people can glean from me shortly after meeting me, haha!
I have always loved being active in sports or rollerskating, as well as a love of music and dancing! Robyn knows all about that lol! I played sports thru high school (basketball, track, volleyball). I have nieces and one in particular right now that's just 2, and I want nothing more than to see her grow up. I want to be around for my family for a long time!
This hasn't been an easy diagnosis to take in and process. But I know I will find my greater purpose in this journey that I'm about to embark on. I know I will learn so much more about myself and how strong I can be than anything else I've had to face. I would love to be a patient advocate to help others who may not be familiar with health/wellness or where to begin. I'm contemplating starting a youtube channel to share my story as it happens to share with you all here too.
UPDATE AS OF 12/2/2022
The cancer clinic and an anonymous celebrity donor have generously said I only need to raise 15-20k of the 45k. So I still need help on reaching my goal, but it's a little bit more attainable now, which I am so grateful for that big boost in help! I am beyond appreciative of those who've donated and shared my link so far, I wouldn't have been able to have my live tumor profiling biopsy if I didn't have the help I've had so far. The tumor profiling cost 7k, and that was all I had raised at the time when I had it done so I'm starting almost from the beginning again. But, I know I can do this, with the help of my family, friends and those who have given selflessly that don't even know me...I struggle with the words to really convey how full of gratitude I am. I'm in the home stretch, please share my link - thank you!
