Hello friends and kind strangers,

For those of you who don't know me: my name is Lillyan Steinberg I'm a 20 year old girl who's very busy with work, figuring out my career and enjoying my passion of musical theater. I'm a very independent person and don't like to rely on others for anything. However, recent circumstances have made it crucial to seek help from anyone willing/able to do so. Recently, I was involved in a serious car accident that has left me facing unexpected expenses. No other cars or pedestrians were involved and I am perfectly (physically) healthy, but I am also extremely lucky to have walked away from that accident untouched. I was driving home from a musical theater rehearsal on a curvy, slippery road in the dark and rain. I came around a tight curve when my wheels lost traction and I began to slide all across the road. I counteracted each swerve as best I could but eventually lost control of the wheel. I slid off of the road between a metal gate and an electric pole and down a ditch. The ditch caused my car to flip over it's right side and land back on its wheels. I am genuinely just so grateful to be alive. With the busy life I live relying on others for transportation is not something suitable for me to do for an extended period of time. That being said, I will be starting a Gofundme to raise funds toward paying off my car as well as toward getting a new one. This will help me be able to continue my everyday life of work, theater, and eventual education/career endeavors. Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference and is deeply appreciated.
