It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, boyfriend, family member and friend. During an act of bravery and courage, on the evening of September 3, 2019, David Baker tragically lost his life while defending and protecting a complete stranger who was in danger.

Anyone who knew David knew he had a huge heart and would do whatever he could to help others he cared about. As you can imagine, David’s family is grieving immensely right now and the last thing we want them to have to worry about is finances.

On behalf of his family, in the most devastating and humble of circumstances, we have set up a GoFundMe campaign, to help ensure David is properly laid to rest as well as to help with support services for his two daughters, Elizabeth and Haylee.
