My coworker from Dublin Ireland recently had a health scare and he’s out of pocket $2800. Kevin thought he had travel insurance but the fine print said otherwise. Basically, it turns out that package he got to come to Canada, a very large country, was an infinite 60-day multi trip package for two years. He’s hasn’t even been here a year. Confused? So was I. It’s pretty much a package if you are backpacking through Europe or South America. We looked into and, if Kevin had taken a cab to Blaine, Washington and then gone to the hospital for suspected appendicitis, he’d have been  covered. Or if he had gone on a day trip to Seattle at any point, he’d be covered. Suffice to say, $2,800 is a significant blow to anyone in the restaurant industry. Let’s toss him a few bucks, yeah?
