Burn victim needs help!

Dear Community,
Many of you have heard, those that haven’t, Mike Utley, a dear member of our Lake Wildwood community. (Diane Utley’s spouse, Laurie Utley Mason’s brother, and the father of Marcus, Mitchell and Megan Utley, son of Kay Gilbert and brother Jeff Utley) has suffered a devastating burn.
Most of you know Mike for his handyman mechanic skills with your boats and cars. Some of you know him through Diane, his wife, and some of you know him through fishing or drag racing.
On Sunday, father’s day, Mike was burned by a gasoline fire. There was an explosion of gas and flame that lit Mike on fire.
He is currently at UC Davis burn unit with 20% burns on his hands, arms, stomach, and face. He is in excruciating pain, and is being pain managed.
Many of you know Mike makes a living with his hands. His hands are severely burned and wrapped in bandages. We are waiting to find out if and when skin grafts will be the next step. We are not sure at this point how long he will be recovering, however, we do know, that it will be a long while before he has use of his hands.
