In Loving Memory of our friend Michelle (Shell) Mitchell

Hi, my name is Liz, and I'm fundraising on behalf of our dear friend Michelle Mitchell, who sadly lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, May 9th.

Michelle — or “Shell” to those who knew and loved her — fought incredibly hard for two years, overcoming countless obstacles with strength, grace, and determination. She never gave up and remained strong right until the very end.

Michelle leaves behind three beautiful children — Kheana, Blake, and Ashleigh — and five adored grandchildren, all of whom were by her side throughout this difficult journey. Now, in the wake of her passing, they are trying to arrange a private memorial to say goodbye and honour their mum and nan in the way she truly deserves.

With family needing to travel from the Central Coast and as far as Tweed Heads to Sydney, the costs have quickly added up — especially with young children in tow. We're hoping to ease that financial burden and help give Shell a heartfelt farewell with family and friends who loved her dearly.

If you're able to contribute, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to her family. Shell was the kind of person who would have done the same for any of us.
