Beautiful Heart; Stephani's Medical

I want to tell you about an amazing person who is an inspiration to everyone she meets.
At age 17 Stephani joined the US Army. But due to a rope that broke during a training exercise, stephani injured her knee. Stephani did not let that stop her from trying to complete boot camp. Stephani pushed through the pain and came within one last mile run of graduating; however, she was not allowed to do the run and was honorably discharged. Stephani came home, but had no medical insurance to bring with her. She persevered…
Stephani attended college and completed a course to become an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). This education landed her a job saving lives as a first responder driving ambulance, and teaching CPR classes. However, Stephani became ill and had to leave the job until she recovered. She persevered…
While taking her younger brother, Ryan, to a meeting with the Dean of San Joaquin Community College where he enrolled to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Stephani became very interested herself and enrolled right along with Ryan the same day. Stephani graduated with honors.
After graduation, Stephani landed a job in a hospital and was thriving at the job. She was saving lives once again. Until…the day Stephani was performing CPR to save a man’s life, and injured her arm. After surgery, and lots of physical therapy, Stephani was classified as disabled and could never do this job again. She persevered…
Stephani went off to start a business a few states away from where she grew up and away from family.
Still struggling to overcome her arm injury Stephani was determined to get strong again working out at the gym daily before work; however, life for her has taken a wrong turn again. Stephani stepped out of the shower, slipped on water, fell and injured her back. The doctors say its a ruptured disc.
Now, after many x-rays, tests and MRIs, the doctors have found a small mass in her brain. Stephani only has the most basic of medical insurance, because that’s all she can afford. Stephani is told she needs to see a neurologist, but the insurance wont cover it. Stephani struggles to pay her bills already and cannot afford the extra $800 a month needed for the better insurance. Still she perseveres…
Even through the toughest life has offered Stephani, she has always kept a positive attitude. Stephani loves the Lord with all her heart and soul. Caring and forgiving, saving lives, never asking for anything in return. Keeping family close and the Lord closer. She is generous to a fault and has a beautiful spirit.
This amazing person is my older sister. Stephani is an inspiration of love and joy. Quality this world is a bit short on these days. Stephani is loved by so many. There is still more work the Lord needs her to do.
I have no idea how much this will cost. Stephani will never ask for it. But I'm asking on behalf of Stephani's family, and her little nieces and nephews. Every little bit helps so that Stephani can get the medical attention she needs to beat this. Even the smallest donation is appreciated. Please… even if you cannot donate, please pray and share with everyone you know. God bless you and thank you.
