On December 9th, Emerson suffered a massive heart attack while at home with his family. Though the incredible EMS and hospital team did everything they could, to include multiple stent placements as well as other procedures in order to bring him back, his brain was without oxygen for too long during the resuscitation and the medical staff deemed his condition terminal. Saturday, 12/29/2018 Emerson passed in Hospice care.
Emerson has 3 sons that he was supporting, one of which who just started college. In the wake of everything, Emerson's family is going to be responsible for the large amount of hospital and care bills from his treatment since the 9th. Though the exact amount is not yet known, it is estimated in the tens of thousands. Unfortunately, Emerson did not have any medical or life insurance to help alleviate the cost of the medical procedures, future funeral arrangements/services, and other bills being supported by the family. Though the amount is an estimate, if there is any excess donations once medical and funeral costs are covered, they will be given forward to others in need so as to help alleviate the burden that other similar families are experiencing. Any help and donation is greatly appreciated by his friends and family.
Thank you so much!
