Kevin Needs Your Support Now

5/3/25: Our little family needs help. Kevin is dealing with cirrhosis of the liver. On April 17th, Kevin had vessels burst in his esophagus and he was bleeding out, again (2nd time since February). He was in the ICU from April 18th till the 24th. He needed 5 units of blood and 2 units of plasma. They went in and banded the bleeds. They also removed 475 ml fluid from his abdomen. He has not worked since April 17th and will be out of work till at least May 25th. He is still very weak and gets tired easily. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He did file for disability, but we all know how long that takes.

We are trying to get help with his monthly bills since no income will be coming in until he goes back to work. There is no savings, and the checking account is done. He also has no health insurance, so everything is out of pocket. Monthly bills he needs to stay on top of are: payments for two cars, car insurance, everyday living, child support, gas to get to doctor's visits, prescriptions, and payments to be able to see doctors.

We are doing our best to keep his stress level and blood pressure down, to keep him from having more bleeds pop up. He has his three boys, a granddaughter, and a grandson on the way to make sure he is around for.

He will also need help with medical bills as they start coming in. We know these are going to be very high since he was life flighted the first time and transported by ambulance the second time to a hospital 50 miles away from home, the third time he was transported by ambulance to a hospital closer to home.

All funds will be used toward everyday expenses and medical bills. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
