More information about Safe House for Unwanted Animals Trust: SHUA is an acronym for Safe House for Unwanted Animals. Started in September 2001, SHUA is a very real rescue organisation specialising in the emergency rescue & re-habilitation (& subsequent re-homing) of kittens & cats (including strays)in Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan. SHUA is a registered charity run by volunteers. We have a Charity shop at 97 High St. Barry, CF62 7AJ which is our main source of funding. A lot is raised by donations and fundraising events.
