I’m running 100 kilometres to raise £100 in aid of LOWER MOSS WOOD EDUCATIONAL NATURE RESERVE AND WILD LIFE HOSPITAL, every donation will help! Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about THE LOWER MOSS WOOD EDUCATIONAL NATURE RESERVE AND WILD LIFE HOSPITAL: Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital treats and cares for around 2000 wild animals and birds each year with the aim to release back to the wild. The warden, Ray Jackson MBE has taught over 50,000 children about nature and wildlife conservation. The charity provides volunteering opportunities and work placements for students. The organisation has been running since 1988 but has been hit hard recently by covid 19 and the cost of living crisis. During the pandemic, no schools or colleges could visit the reserve which is the main source of their funding. Rising energy costs is now draining what they have left and are at risk of closing down without help. Without amazing places like this, there is will be less help available for wild animals.
