My name is Megan Crane and I'm here to raise money for my amazing uncle, James Fava and his family. They've come into some very difficult times over the course of the last few years. It all started when my uncle was 22 with cancer. The radiation damaged his heart and he was sick for years. On February 29th, 2012, he had a heart transplant. He has been in and out of the hospital fighting. He now also needs a kidney transplant & his lungs are very messed up. He's in the hospital fighting for his life now while all his family and friends can do is be his strength and pray while the amazing doctors continue do everything they can for him. We are so grateful for all they have done and will continue to do and we will never be able to thank them enough. My uncle and aunt have a daughter who is graduating high school this year and starting college in the fall. This along with all the medical bills and other financial responsibilities they have is becoming a huge stress for my family, a stress they shouldn't have to worry about while my uncle is so sick on a ventilator. So I'm here to try my best to help them and so I'm reaching out to everyone here. My uncle is my hero and role model. His strength inspires me daily as well as his ability to always find the good in the awful circumstances he has had to deal with. I admire him & cherish all he is and all I want to do is help him and his family. Thank you!
