Charity was diagnosed with glaucoma and staphyloma in 2014, she has already had one surgery. This surgery was to prevent the staphyloma from doing anymore damage to her eye. Staphloma grows causing the eye to be pushed out of the eye socket. The staphyloma has forced her glaucoma to progress faster leaving her with light vision only in her right eye. We had her appointment on Friday March 31 st and it turns out that she needs to have another surgery immediately. She's been having headaches, and her eyes have been irritated. Her pressures are up again in her right eye. I'm not sure what the surgery she will be having is called yet, I will find out more information Monday and update. If she doesn't have this surgery she will lose the eye completely and they will have to take it. She's scheduled for April 24th 2017 at 8:30 am. Charity has congenital glaucoma and wasn't discovered by her original eye Doctor till she was 14.
