Help Flood Victims in Bangladesh!
Med Coalition is urgently raising funds to support flood relief efforts in Bangladesh, where countless families have lost their homes and are struggling to survive. Our team, comprised of dedicated students and professionals, will use these funds to provide essential supplies, medical care, and much-needed support to those affected. Every donation can make a significant difference.
Recent floods have left 1.2 million families stranded, as reported by Al Jazeera. Since August 21st, rising waters have inundated 11 districts, leaving much of the region submerged, with water levels reaching chest height in some areas. The consequences are dire. Many have lost everything, including loved ones. Bangladesh, already grappling with malnutrition, is now facing worsening conditions due to the flood. Without immediate intervention, the combination of unsanitary conditions and lack of nutrition could lead to a devastating outbreak of disease.
To prevent such a tragedy, Med Coalition is committed to aiding flood victims as much as possible. As a nonprofit organization, we have established a chapter in Bangladesh, consisting of highly qualified medical students and professors from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka Medical College and other esteemed institutions. Once sufficient funds are raised, our chapter will mobilize its members, alongside doctors and professors, to deliver aid directly to the flood-stricken regions.
Even a single dollar can make a tremendous impact. Please consider the lives you can save with just a small donation.
