Help get us get into our home

Hello,

My name is Karli Bouck. I just wanted to write a letter to tell you little bit about my family members who are in need of financial help, necessitating this gofundme.

My parents (Mike and Michelle Bouck) have been married for 33 years this December. Their family story began with 4 children. The family grew exponentially when their youngest was about to graduate and they were about to become empty nesters. My 6 small cousins were placed in state custody due to a bad home environment. At that point, my parents decided that they would take these 6 children into their home to give them a loving family, and once again the house was filled with the sights and sounds of a large family.

The landlord they are currently renting from is going through a divorce, so his home is being put on the market. My parents had originally desired to purchase this house that they are renting. Unfortunately, because of the current housing market, the home is being listed for more than my parents can currently get approved for.

My parents are in search of a new place that is ideal for their family needs. In this housing market, it is so difficult to find anything before it gets snapped up! My parents are willing to work on a fixer-upper but would need help with funds to make a fixer-upper livable, having added 6 children to their household financial responsibility has made this situation into what seems an impossible dream. They are currently looking at moving 5 kids into a home that has potential, but without the finances to make it ideal for the family’s needs. This home could be the blessing that my parents have been searching for during this current unexpected housing market and it would mean so much to me if they could be given the opportunity to find and purchase their forever home!

My parents have given so much to and for these children, and I would love it if our community could come together to rally and help them get into this much-needed home, with the ability to make it livable and appropriate for the family.
