Hello everyone! My name is Carina, I am Noel’s best friend and Maggie’s built-in Auntie. As some of you may or may not know, on Thursday, 9/12/2024, our sweet and sassy Maggie girl was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is 3 years old. To say this news is shocking to all of us is an understatement. Maggie is the strongest little fighter and is smashing her chemo treatments so far. Noel, Maggie, and her siblings, Dominic and Ariahna, are about to embark on an unimaginable journey. Noel and Maggie will have to stay in the hospital or in close proximity to the hospital on a regular basis for the first several months while Maggie undergoes treatment while her other 2 kids are 3.5 hours away. The financial impact this is going to have on this family is going to be significant. While Noel is grateful to be able to work from the hospital, there will be many days she cannot work due to Maggie’s needs. Noel has to support herself away from home and support her older kids who are at home. If you know Noel, you know that she is a strong, independent mama. I am coming to you to ask for your help. We are looking to raise money for travel for the older kids back and forth to the hospital to have “family time”, to support their day-to-day needs as they are away from their mom, Noel’s meals, bills, and any out-of-pocket medical costs that may come up during this journey.
