Saving a family home

Hi, my name is Michael, and I am trying to help, even if in a small way, to save my friend Garret's home. Due to illness and loss of work, his family home is being foreclosed upon, and although he may not be able to keep it, at least I want to try and help him be able to sell it, so that all his savings that went into it aren't lost to the bank. I know it's a long shot, but I am hoping that with enough people, even a single dollar each, maybe we can rescue it.
