Lisa's Medical Fund

As some of you know, my sister Lisa became sick while on vacation in Florida. She contracted the flu, which progressed to pneumonia, and she was admitted to the hospital on March 27, the day before she was scheduled to fly home. She is profoundly ill, on an IV drip, oxygen, and several medications including strong painkillers and antibiotics. It is estimated that she will need to remain in the hospital in Florida at least two weeks.

Apart from the medical bills, there are other expenses related to her extended stay away from home, and the fact that she will not be able to return to work until she regains her strength.

In addition, she has spent several thousand dollars in the past year on medical expenses for her beloved dog, Tupelo, who became very sick with an autoimmune disease after a rabies vaccine injury.
