Hello, my name is Veronica, and I am starting this fundraiser to support my father, Russ, in his battle against cancer. On February 7th, 2024, our lives changed when Dad was diagnosed with cancer. He chose to keep his diagnosis private at first, focusing on his treatment and family without drawing attention to his illness. After a year of quietly undergoing chemotherapy, Dad has been given a new hope—acceptance into a promising clinical trial at Massachusetts General Hospital.

This clinical trial is a beacon of hope for us, but it also comes with its own set of challenges, including additional medical expenses and travel costs. As Dad bravely fights his illness, he and my mom, Tracy, are also raising two of their grandchildren, adding further to their responsibilities and financial strain.
