Meet Bailey! She is my 5-year-old pitbull mix that I rescued. I saved Bailey when she was about a year old from her previous owner who was abusing and neglecting her, and over the last 5 years, she has been re-trained and really molded into our home and family.

Unfortunately, this weekend, Bailey’s health took a turn for the worse, overnight she began to not have an interest in food or using the bathroom a long with vomiting water and bile. We rushed her to the emergency room and have been told that not only has she become severely dehydrated but she has some sort of obstruction that is stuck between her stomach and intestine. We aren’t sure what the obstruction is or how this happened. She was admitted overnight in hopes of being able to pass the obstruction using fluids, but unfortunately, this morning we were advised that her kidney levels have raised most likely due to the inflammation.

At this point she is in need of a life threatening surgery immediately.

With already having spent $3k in her emergency fees so far, I have no other choice but to reach out to the dog lover community in hopes that together, we can help save my little girl. If there is anything you can do financially to support her, I would forever be grateful to each of you!
