Help Honour Rebecca’s Memory: Support Ataxia UK

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved sister, Rebecca, sister also to Stacey, and eldest daughter of Ian and Lyn, who left us on October 13th, 2024, after a brave battle with Friedreich’s Ataxia. She was a kind, vibrant soul who faced her condition with incredible strength and resilience, inspiring everyone who knew her.

Friedreich’s Ataxia is a rare, degenerative disease that affects the nervous system and muscle coordination. Watching Rebecca go through this was incredibly difficult, but throughout it all, she remained positive, never letting her condition define her spirit. Her love for life and those around her will never be forgotten.

In honor of Rebecca’s memory and to help support the research and care for others affected by this debilitating condition, we are raising funds for Ataxia UK. This charity is dedicated to finding treatments and offering support to individuals and families affected by ataxia. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference in the fight against this cruel disease.
