Medical costs
Donation protected
On October 24th, 2018 I underwent major heart surgery to implant a Left Ventricular Assisted Device (LVAD). I was in a state of end stage heart failure and although I needed a heart transplant, I would not have lasted long enough to receive a donor, etc. This surgery was the only possible action that could save my life. The surgery lasted approx. eight hours and I was awakened three days afterwards. The surgery was successful and it saved my life. Now I have recurring hospital appointments to meet with the transplant doctors as well as do regular blood tests etc. The financial toll has been tough on my limited resources and while I have been supported throughout all of this by my family, we are falling behind on medical related, as well as living costs. I am still in need of getting on the transplant list, as I will need a full heart transplant as soon as I can afford it. Right now I'm just trying to meet current bills and hopefully be able to get on the transplant list. I reluctantly have come to the point where I cannot cover the funds needed to defray these aforementioned expenditures. I know so many of my friends are dealing with their own personal struggles, but if there is any way you can help me at all with these costs I would sincerely appreciate it. Even if you cannot afford any financial help, I would be genuinely grateful if you could at least share this campaign to spread the message. Thank you all so much. May you all forever be blessed.
