My name is Libby. My mum was Claire hall who sadly died on the 30/03/26 after just a short 23 day fight with aggressive stomach cancer. She was taken horrifically from us before she even passed.

before The tragedy, and above all else, she was a fantastic mum to me and my sister, Bryony. She raised us alone and I am proud of who we turned out to be because of her. When I was 6 years old, she got diagnosed with a life threatening heart condition. Dilated-cardiomyopathy. She died on the table 3 times during the surgery and fought HARD to make sure she didn’t leave us behind. She then fought through life for another 20 years with her heart until the cancer got her. She had multiple health conditions thrown at her and she never let it stop her. She struggled and was in pain a lot of her life but she pushed in.

she is also a grannie to my 2 daughters, Harleen and Paedyn. Harleen got 7, nearly 8, short years with her grannie. And Paedyn is only 4 months old and will now never remember her. But even from birth loved her grannie very much. She was the best grannie a girl could wish for and without her I would have struggled immensely to raise and have my girls. They love her dearly.

my mum loved to craft and crochet. She made so many blankets that she has kept countless babies warm and cozy and also made and handed out many to the homeless with my Harleen. She spread kindness and love and warmth. And for all of that I want to give her the send off she deserves to repay all of that.

I find it hard to ask for help, especially financially, I feel awful for it. But as a family we are so desperate to make this special for her and we didn’t have any time to prepare for this when it’s happened so quickly. I need to give my daughters an amazing opportunity to say bye to their grannie and for us to say bye to our mum and her husband to say bye to his wife.
