11/17/24: As holidays approach and Karen continues to fight her battle, we thought we would re-share. We appreciate any support for the family.

It is with heavy hearts that we are again asking for assistance for the Babcock family. Just a week before the 8-month anniversary of Matt’s passing, Karen has been diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. After an extended hospital stay and many appointments looming, the medical bills are already piling up. And although reluctant to ask for it, they need our help.

We saw how the community wrapped their arms around this poor family and embraced them through the devastating tragedy of losing Matt and we hope that again we can help them rise up and fight this. As one can imagine, with cancer treatment comes side effects, so we will also be starting a meal train to assist Karen and let her recover as needed.
