Dean's funeral expenses

We are all devastated by Dean's loss and were no prepared for a high cost of a funeral service.
I want to give Dean, my dearest beloved husband, the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Dean's funeral. We need to raise $28,000 by the end of the day of October 25th in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so, as any amount will truly help. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.

Hi, my name is Victoria, and I'm fundraising for the love of my life, my dear husband Dean Shifflett.
Two years ago, we stood united as a family, asking for your support as Dean started his battle with cancer. After over two years of extensive treatments and enduring its effects on his body both physically and mentally, Dean was finally in remission.
We got engaged, moved back to Virginia to be closer to friends and family, and Dean started a new job.
He was finally able to start a "normal" life, and once again, he finds himself fighting for his life.
Today we ask for support in fighting Dean's new enemy, COVID.
As many of you have seen on Facebook or heard, on August 20, 2021, Dean was diagnosed with COVID-19, despite being vaccinated, due to his compromised immune system. He was sent home to quarantine and rest. However, each day he was getting worse, and on August 30, 2021, he was hospitalized with COVID double pneumonia and a clot in his lung.
In the first week of him being in the hospital, doctors changed his medication regimen several times due to a rapid progression in his pneumonia.
Week two, Dean was put on a high-flow oxygen machine, and doctors struggled to keep his oxygen at the optimum level. Unfortunately, several times his oxygen levels dropped to the critical level causing him to faint.
On September 13, 2021, Dean was transferred to the MCU unit needing more intensive medical care. The high-flow oxygen machine was working on 100%, and he was heavily sedated.
His body was worn out, and his lungs were tired from labored breathing. Despite doctors' efforts to keep him off the ventilator, sadly, yesterday, September 16, 2021, Dean was transferred to ICU and intubated.
Earlier this week, I received the notice that Dean is out of his sick days and will need to go on personal leave (which is unpaid) or file for short-term disability (60% of his pay) what we are working on now.
Medical bills are adding up as we are still paying the bills incurred from cancer treatment.

Please consider a donation to help with increasing medical expenses.
We are asking for prayers of healing and recovery for Dean.
