Hi everyone. I’m asking if you guys could send your prayers and thoughts to my dad, Mike Tellegen and our family. My dad went into the ER with abdominal pain and was vomiting on Thursday. They found a 4cm mass on his colon. He had surgery to remove it Friday. They also removed his appendix, the scar tissue, 1/4 of his colon, everything was very enlarged and swollen, smashed together. They have left him open to let all the swelling go down and put him in a medical induced coma. Right after the surgery the dr made the decision to transport him to a different hospital via life flight with staff that can adequately care for him. Today as we speak he is in surgery again to check the swelling. If all is well he will have everything reconnected. They did lower the sedative this morning, he did answer his name and some questions. That all went well. He will be in the hospital for at 5-7 days. He will have a colostomy bag. He will have that for several months. Then an additional surgery to reattach the colon. We cannot see him and until he is awake and we can’t speak to him either. We should be able to at least be on speakerphone for him to hear us later today. We know God is taking care of him and the doctors providing care. We are asking that God heals my dad quickly. We all need him healthy   and on his feet again.
