Here we go again.
Lately it’s been tragedy after tragedy and we can’t seem to catch up.
Two weeks ago, my dad had a heart attack and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He underwent surgery to put two stints on two 90% clogged veins and has been in the hospital for over a month not working, or being able to pay his bills.
The last thing he needed after my moms passing was this, he knew something was wrong but was too busy taking care of us, the house, my mom and neglecting himself.
My dads worked double hard to fend for us and hasn’t been able to catch a break and now the one thing the doctor said he couldn’t have was stress - he has it.
He can’t afford the expensive medications, there’s no generic brands for them, he’s not able to afford his rent because he has not been working and we try - but can’t seem to help him catch up.
At this point I’m just asking for help while my dad gets back up on his feet. I’m working overtime and 55 hour weeks to try and help.
Anything helps.
I literally hate doing this, hate putting my business out anywhere but here I am - because my dad needs help. Ego aside, anything at all would help while he recovers from heart surgery. I can hear the worry in his voice when he calls and tells me not too.
