Tyler Fortenberry, married to Lauren Lockridge Fortenberry, father to 3 sons: Ashton 10 years old, Chase 2 years old and Gunner 3 months old, needs your help.
On Wednesday September 11, 2019, Tyler suffered injuries from an 18 foot fall from a roof where he was working. He was found face down on the ground, unconscious. An ambulance was called. He was sedated and intubated in the field as EMTs waited for Life Flight for Tyler to be airlifted to Oschners LSU hospital in Shreveport. He was admitted to ICU for care.
Tyler’s injuries include: multiple brain bleeds, a lacerated liver with bleeding, abdominal bleeding and both bones in his left forearm are broken. As of Friday 9-13 he has not regained consciousness. He is however, responding to commands at times but not consistently. Tyler has not opened his eyes or spoken since the accident.
Tyler is a very active person. He works out regularly and is very strong. Doctors say it is his physical strength that just may have saved his life.
Tyler is the main source of income for his family, as Lauren is a stay at home mom. Medical bills will soon be piling on top of their everyday bills. Please if you feel the need to help do so. Tyler has an extremely long road to recovery, and we would love to help relieve the stress of money and bills. No amount of donation is to small. Please continue to pray for Tyler and his family.
