Hello, my name is Ollie and I'm raising money to afford top surgery and a legal gender change. I have been out as trans and socially transitioned since I was 13, and I have been on testosterone for almost a year now. I will never be able to afford this surgery on my own because I am currently unemployed and working on my GED in order to get a better-paying job for my future. I am 19 years old, turning 20 in March.

Right now, I'm trying to race againt the clock- because recent anti trans laws are proposing a full federal insurance ban on all gender affirming care. If i had the amount this fundraiser is asking, i could skip the months- maybe even year long insurance process all together and get my surgery and gender legally changed immediately.

Ever since starting testosterone, my chest dysphoria has gotten increasingly worse—to the point in my darkest times I would self-harm my chest. It ruins my self-confidence and makes my body feel out of place in my reflection. Not to mention, binders are harmful to my spine if worn too long, and I have been wearing a binder every day for over 6 years. In the summer, it gets sweaty and unbearable, and I would love to feel the wind on my chest like any other guy.
