Hi, my name is Tina and I live in the White Mountains. In the past few day's the man in the photo has reached out for my help. There was a situation with a neighbor and he didn't know what to do. I had to phone the police department because he is deaf and couldn't call. During this situation, I communicated with him a bit and learned some pretty sad things about him. He lives directly behind my property in an old broken-down RV. He has no lights, no hot water, no fridge and no way to cook meals. He has a tv and a dog. The passenger side of this RV is sitting on the rims. Therefore he lives in a slanted RV.

He has a F350 duelly that has broken down and now has no way to even go to the store and we live in the middle of nowhere. He is elderly and needs our communities help. This evening when I came home, he asked me to please take him to see the horse on the reservation (they allow him to graze and live there.) He has had this horse for 17 years. I, of course, agreed to take him, as he had not seen his horse in 3 weeks due to no vehicle. On the way, he asked me to stop by the mechanic's place to get the food he had for the horse out of his broken truck.

Once we arrived to where the horses were, I cried. He asked me to honk 3 times and that the horse would come running. That did happen and my heart just melted. The love this man has for his horse is beyond like anything else I have ever witnessed. You could even see the happiness in the horse's behavior. SO HEARTWARMING. He fed him his bucket of food and gave treats to him and the other two horses on-site. I need to help this man at least get his truck fixed. The guy that has it apparently is not communicating with him.

A kind woman that pulled up while we were there stated she had not seen John in a while so she came by and gave the horses carrots and celery. After talking with her, she agree's we needed to help him. He truly has no one. I can always help, but I can not single-handed do it all, so I am asking for all of my lovely humans to give this man a hand up. He lives off very little money and still makes payments on a truck that he doesn't even have possession of right now as he can't pay, so it sits.

I know this world is suffering all over, but I also know that many of us are truly blessed and have more than this man for sure.

I would be forever grateful, and I know he would also for even a $5.00 donation. Anything helps and it all adds up.

I would love to help him with his living situation too but feel transportation is pretty darn important. He can't even bathe because he has no hot water and no way to heat water.
