A Mother’s Cry

ISAIAH 

A single bullet has change our lives for me and my family Gun violence has broken my heart

I am asking for your support to help me equipment myself in this new journey and support my son Isaiah , on July 27, 2021 Once more  I cry out Again Against Gun Violence as  individuals in the Bronx have attempted to take another  life my child’s life, while altering lives of many.

I got the phone call no mom wants to get, Ma think I’ve been shot help me ma, help me please , in my frantic I tell him to tell someone to call the police' get an ambulance I’m coming . This is some crazy sh t . He said he thought he was hearing fire crackers coming from down the block only to check his mirror and see delinquents in a car with Guns out the windows shooting, fear panic rage , “the beat cop was just there a minute ago he said he felt safe to be there “ Ma I love you “ ,but no one is safe in this city we shouldn’t have to fear living . 

Maybe God’s Trying to Tell me Something, as much as I love my home , my city NYC my life here, how do I save my sanity and what’s left of my family and support my community 

For years I’ve supported others through anti gun violence initiatives, neighborhood and family support initiatives 

There’s is now Devastation in our life with new unexpected expenses ,traveling , good rehab and alternative therapy not included in traditional methods, equipment , rent ,and everyday living/medical expenses for Isaiah and his family that are needed and not covered by insurance . 

I may have supported you at times as you have for me in the past. I’m a sister,mother,friend to my family and community please help me too help my son Isaiah. My son is a Blackman in a systemically ran world I’m his mother trying everything possible to help him regain mobility again as the bullet remains in his spine currently leaving him immobile and more . In hope and prayer
