I declined to ask for help with GoFundMe almost 3 years ago when my wife had a stroke and multiple brain aneurysms repaired. I did so because I could still work my boots off literally as many hours a week as my body would allow to support our family despite medical bills greatly accumulating during her 3-plus weeks in the hospital and multiple procedures. Bills astronomically started and are still coming in the mail. It wasn't pride keeping me from using GoFundMe; it was because I wasn't broken and can still work, and it's hard for me to accept things I have not earned. She's doing great now and only has 2 aneurysms left to be repaired. She has only been released to work 2 days a week since returning to work.

Now I am broken and praying and struggling for my abilities back to continue supporting my family. Monday, 15th 2025, I started getting harsh stomach pains and fought it off as long as possible. I had surgery last night (Friday 19th) to remove a thickened portion of my colon that, upon removal, was found to be dead tissue and a perforation in my bowel discovered, leaking air and toxins into my body cavity. They had to clean everything and remove dead tissue, forcing them to give me a colostomy bag for passing feces. No idea from me or them why this is happening. I am very scared and obviously unable to work till healing is done (no idea how long). I am hopeful I will recover quickly. I do feel I need help keeping above water and don't know what both of us having restrictions is gonna be like. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Love you all.
