Two weeks before Halloween, my very good friend Gusatvo, more like a brother to me, was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. None of us could believe it but there on out up until now the frustrating and rigorous process of fighting the cancer had begun. After the diagnoses, Gustavo had immediate removal surgery and we all hoped for the best. To all of our dismay another more invasive surgery was needed. This time to take out his lymphnodes and hopefully remove all the lingering cancer infected areas. Gustavo is still healing from the two surgeries and now according his doctors chemotherapy is still needed. For nine continuous weeks he will undergo his treatment. This is a time where we would all love to be merry and bright but unfortunately during this Christmas and New Year season our dear Gustavo will be taking on Chemo. Please help out by donation, everything and anything is appreciated. His fiance Omar, a truly amazing soul himself has been standing strong and he needs help too. He has been taking on a lot of financial responsibility in their home as Gustavo has not been able to work. Now most of you who know these wonderful guys know that the past year aside from the cancer has been very hard to say the least. 2015 was going to be the year Omar and Gustavo tied the knot and said "I Do." Instead Omar was laid off early in the year ( since has found new employment), his beloved mother Martha passed away, their beloved dog Jackson passed away, and now this. These two men in our lives ( Me and Marina) are extremely important and they need all of our positive thoughts, prayers, and financial help. As tough as they are - no one is that tough!
