A Devastating Accident Has Changed Everything
My name is Danielle, and I’m a mother of three — ages 6, 9, and 11.
On August 16th, 2024, I suffered a life-altering accident. My youngest son is autistic and has never slept through the night. After months of exhaustion, I was completely delirious. I thought I was heading into the bathroom — instead, I ran through my basement door and missed every stair.
I fell straight down onto the concrete floor.

The Damage Is Severe
I shattered my heel bone (calcaneus), ruptured my Achilles tendon, and suffered extensive nerve, tissue, and muscle damage.
I’ve lost all feeling in my foot. I cannot walk, I cannot bear weight, and I cannot care for my children the way they need me to.
---
No Insurance. No Aid. No Options.
I’ve been denied Medicaid twice.
Disability won’t help me.
I have no insurance, no way to afford surgery follow-up, no physical therapy, and no path to healing without financial support.
---
My Mental Health Is Crumbling
This injury has completely devastated my emotional well-being.
I’m drowning in depression, anxiety, PTSD, and constant intrusive thoughts.
I feel broken. Hopeless. Some days, I don’t know how I’m going to get through.
---
I’m a Mom. I Just Want to Be There for My Kids.
I’m not asking for anything more than a chance to get my life back.
I need help getting the care I cannot afford — so I can walk again, heal, and be the mom my children need.
