In Memory of Donald Ford

Hello Everyone,
Donald Ford, a man of many names-- Father, Son, Brother, Husband, Friend, Chili Cheese Bro, Jr, Donnie, Sweatnick, West Coast Offense-- passed away on the evening of November 11th, 2020 after his courageous battle with cancer.
Over the past 8 months, Don was incredibly strong seeking treatment at Stanford Health Center. After failing to respond to the treatments, he was transferred to UCSF for further care and was quickly admitted to the hospital in which he spent the majority of his two week stay in the ICU. During his time at UCSF, he underwent several inpatient cancer treatments including surgery, scans, chemotherapy, continuous dialysis, and multiple blood transfusions. Don never gave up hope throughout the process and was always so optimistic. Many did not know the fight that he was enduring and he even worked up to the very last day before getting admitted to UCSF for his emergency surgery. At the time of Don's passing, he was surrounded by the comfort and warmth of his family.
We realize this year has been hard on many. With that being said, any financial contribution that you can make is greatly appreciated as it will be a huge help in covering medical expenses and funeral/burial costs. Even a prayer or kind words will help us immensely during these times.
Due to Covid, Don's family is having a small burial with just close family but will be planning a Celebration of Life that will take place mid next year when everyone can come together safely.
The Ford Family is so thankful for all the support and love from everyone!
