In June of 2020 my mother Carolyn was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma which is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. Doctors gave us a very short timeline to get treatment but we knew our God has the last say so and we moved from Savannah to Atlanta in the middle of the night to seek better treatment options. We have been going to MD Anderson in Houston recently as she has been approved by the board of medicine for new treatment trials. With that comes more travel fees and possible relocation fees as she is required to be in Houston 1 week and 2 days every month for her treatment.
