Single Mother with Stage 3 Cancer
Donation protected
In mid September 2021 we were given the news that no one wants to hear. My niece Amanda Ruiz was originally diagnosed with stage 2 Ductal and Lobular carcinoma. She had a double mastectomy in October and the tumor came out larger than expected and spread to two of her lymph nodes which put her at a Stage 3. She immediately started aggressive chemotherapy but then contracted Covid from the hospital during one of her treatments. After that treatment she was extremely sick and was not able to restart her chemotherapy back up until January 2022. After Amanda finishes with her chemotherapy she will then start radiation treatments.
Amanda is a loving, caring and selfless single mother to my great niece Isabella who lost her father (my nephew) in January 2019. Isabella has been through more than some people will go through in a lifetime. I couldn’t love these two beautiful human beings any less than they were my own. They both have a long journey ahead of them and Amanda needs to focus on her health and not stress over bills. During this time she will need help financially to keep a roof over their head, pay bills, and cover extensive medical expenses. If that isn’t enough for them to worry about, Amanda’s car broke down right before surgery and will need help getting her car repaired once she is well enough to go back to work.
Let’s do everything we can to make this battle for Amanda a little easier. Any donations or shares on social media are hugely appreciated. You can also Venmo Amanda at @Amandabella100. Please keep Amanda and Isabella in your prayers.
