Ben Loomer, the music teacher at Stone Valley Middle School, a wonderful dedicated and self sacrificing teacher that cares so much about our kids, had his school office somehow broken into and his equipment stolen, camera that he uses to record the kids performances, surface pro tablet he used for work grading and emailing, his nice guitar, among other things. This was all personal stuff that he or his family purchased for him and he used to work with our kids. The police have no clue how this happened or who's to blame. It's so heart breaking that this would happen in our community to such an outstanding person like him. He is so giving, on his own dime he takes the kids to the music studio at Disneyland so they can have a recording professional experience, he doesn't get paid for his extra time or expenses but makes sure the kids are safe and have a wonderful time. My son tells me that he mentioned his camera had stored the last pictures of his mother that passed away, he can't never get that back, so sad. He shared this not because he wants people to feel sorry but to make sure the kids check what else might be missing that belonged to them. If you have it in your heart to give something, even if small, or to help somehow, giving it to his name will help, lift and cheer him up. He gives so much, he changes our kids lives for the better everyday, let's give back. All funds will go straight to Mr Loomer.
