Alitia's Cancer Fight Chemo In India

This is for my beautiful sister in law Alitia Vauvau. At just 39 she has been recently diagnosed with advanced stage 3 cervical cancer. The treatment recommend for her is chemotherapy and radiation however these facilities are not available in Fiji!I myself have had different types of cancer 3 times, including cervical cancer. I am lucky, as an Australian I live in a country where I can receive first class medical treatment and can manage the associated expenses, Alitia and her husband cannot. I have to fight for a gracious woman who welcomed me into her family and home with kindness an love, who told my now husband never to bring anyone but me back into her home...Due to the cost it is not feasible for Alitia to come to Australia or New Zealand for treatment so the only option is to receive this treatment in India.Alitia has been approved for some government funding for her chemo and radio treatments but we still need to raise 20000 FJD (around 13000 AUD) for treatment, flights, accommodation and living expenses for both herself and her loving husband Peni for a minimum 3 month fight. This is beyond the average income for 4 years to a Fijian.Any help to overcome the financial difficulties to get this loving mother, wife sister and friend a fighting chance to over come this terrible disease would be greatly appreciated.
