Joe is a disabled Vietnam Veteran who suffered a serious brain injury on June 17th. He is in need and deserves the best chance for recovery which in our corner "Maine" of the world is Spaulding Rehab in Boston Mass. The VA is refusing to pay instead wanting to send him to a glorified nursing home 1.5 hrs away (which received poor ratings by DHHS) or Richmond VA which is 12 or 13 hrs away. Joe does have Med A but it only covers a small portion of the bills. Joe is a wonderful man who is loved by all, especially children and animals. We need him back with us.
